The Red Sea has wonderful beaches and clear water. Due to climate circumstandes, it is rich of coral reefes and fishes. It is a paradies for divers, but you do not have to go diving to see all this. A lot of reefes in front of hotels you can reach by swimming there and with a snorkel you can discover a lot!
Not far from Hurghada, there is a wonderful beach, its called Sharm El Nagaa, there you can spend your day and discover unaffected reefes.
We recommend trips by boat, where you go far outside in the sea, so the water is clearer and the fishes and reefes live in a quite surrounding there, so there you can find a lot more variety.
A wonderful trip is to Giftun Island, an uninhabitant island far outside in the sea. There you can jump into water from your boat and do snorkelling or you swim to the island and enjoy the fine sandy beach there.
